So, I began my first quilt. It is very simple. Batik blocks with white stripes. It is baby blanket size and I think it is going to be for my nephew. I'm really happy so far. The back is going to be white with another row of blocks.
I just received a whole box of fabric samples from the costume shop where I work. These blocks came from it. There are some other fun blocks in the stash that I can't wait to use. In other news, my fabulous camera that went missing and then was found has now decided to not work. I'm so frustrated. Oh well. I found my old camera so we'll see how it does.
