Solid...

Now... I love prints. I rarely work in solids, unless for an accent or border or lining or something like that. Well, I changed my mind yesterday.

I worked in solids! Crazy! And I love it.

And I decided to let my machine decide where the quilting lines go. I'm okay with that.

But I did work in some prints...for the lining. Sis Boom, you helped me out!

Doing one in red, pink, and gray right now. Let's see.

Working on a new quilted back...in orange strips...here it is...not quite finished yet. I still have a lining and button to choose and put on.

Kumato...

At the produce market today...found Kumato...a type of tomato I guess from Europe and Canada. Gang, It is good. And beautiful. Great tomato flavor. Very meaty, holds up well. I am in love!

In a yummy tomato salad right now. Can't wait to top the Baguette with them!

Sewing Frenzy...

A couple of new bags I just wrapped up tonight! My friend Grayson and I were discussing our love of gray and yellow today so I got inspired. Rushed to the fabric store and found some gray/black/yellows I liked. Quilted it in gray. Loves the results.

Front. This is the best button I own. Totally vintage, totally hot. It pained me to sew it on this bag. Just pained me. Oh, I love it.

Lately...

Hey Gang,

Listen...what is wrong with me? I've let time get away from me with blogging. I've said it before..how do you blog and work and live and all that stuff? I'm terrible at it. But I'll give you a rundown on what's been going on...

1. I played a bear...Papa Bear to be clear. It was great fun! Super fun! And I love my Mrs. Garrett wig! Jazz Hands!

I also costumed a show for Playfest! at Orlando Shakes. It was fun too. No pics yet, but maybe soon.

And I've been sewing a lot lately. And my friend John at QuiltDad is celebrating his 2 year blogiversary and I told him I wanted to help with his giveaway. Look at what I made for him!
